It started while I was playing around on the keyboard yesterday, although I had already written "Your Time is Now', the second song for the new project came to me unexpectedly and for the first time in my life the song gave birth to itself, I now understand what it means to say the song writer is just a vessel for the song revealed from above. Thank you God for the gift of music

Today was absolutely awesome! I wrote the music to three new songs and without a doubt, they will all make it into the album. Perhaps what I'm really proud of is that after many years of downloading wonderful free music from the JW.org website, Today I was able to return the favor with my new song 'Jehovah'. I pray that he blesses this endeavour and give hope to the meek.

Yesterday, I finished laying the ground work for "The Power of the Lord" this took things to a slightly different direction. Instead of the Album being a straight forward pop rock record, I started experimenting with R&B and Hip-hop sounds. Its getting really exciting! Thanks to God for all his support:)

The I've finished writing the lyrics to "Call on You" which is inspired by the story of Elijah (YHWH Is My God) PBUH in 1 Kings 18:36. The chorus of the song is so heart warming, I knew I had done a great Job because I couldn't stop humming it while doing groceries shopping today!

The lyrics to "Jehovah" are Done! I have to admit that inspiration came from listening to sing to Jehovah songs, I played the track to a couple of critics and the feedback was positive with reference to the music. Of course, I wasn't about to consult anyone on the lyrics, whoever wants to hear the music and the lyrics will just have to wait until the production is done. Blessed is the name of Jehovah :)

The tracking of "On the road to heaven" is Done! As usual, it's the simple songs which are the hardest to record and track, can't wait to start tracking the vocals and then it's off to the mixing board. stay connected for more

With "Hope for the Meek", I'm taking advantage of all the missed opportunities I lost out on while recording "New Generation Farahan" & "Time Machine", I'm putting more effort into ensuring that my craftmanship shines throughout the records. From an administrative aspect, I spent the last few days of Feb trying to generate interest of the project to indie labels. Although I've had a fulfilling relationship with Mirage, it might not be the right label for this project. Anyway, its still too early to worry about that. I'm anticipating the project completion deadline to be around late April early May. Keep me in your prayers everybody.

More progress on the album as the early mixing of the some of the tracks have commenced, the energy is very positive. I've also started mapping out some of the engineering and mastering software selected for the album. Some software is familiar and a couple of new ones.

There has been incredible progress in the making of hope for the meek. That progress is largely due to the support given to me by Presonus, iZotop and Roland's Cakewalk. That support has enabled me to finished the recording of 5 tracks for the album up to the mixing stage pending the final mastering. This has led me to consult my team at belief records to consider pushing up the release date of the album. Will keep you guys updated. Until then;
